Alnwick Golf Course

Alnwick Golf Course

Swansfield Park Alnwick NE66 1AB

Located within minutes of the main A1 above Alnwick town centre 30 miles south of Berwick-upon-Tweed and 32 miles north of Newcastle.

The 18 holes stretch over 6,250 yards and not clustered together so that each hole feels less like an extension of the others and more like an individual challenge.  There are many natural hazards that can play havoc with any stray shots, including open grassland and gorse.

The course provides a fantastic test of golf with a mix of a par threes, fours and fives.

Their signature hole is the 12th know as the “Lang Whang’ – it is an uphill dog leg (left) par 5 culminating in a raised green – a par here or better and you’ll be delighted.
